ABOUT
Central Christian Church (CCC) is a church in Indianapolis that is a part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Central is an Open and Affirming church.
Central wanted to revamp its website as well as get assistance with strategy and content creation when ASH was brought on. The goal of the website and all content creation was to create a welcoming and informative virtual atmosphere for current and new congregation members, while making updates and information easily accessible.
REVAMPED WEBSITE
& LIVE STREAMING
ASH transitioned the Central Christian Church website to Squarespace to both modernize the site and make it easier for staff to regularly add updated information. Other key goals for the website included highlighting Central’s mission and making the Sunday services accessible without members being there in-person. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Central moved to an online-only format for Sunday services, and utilized the ASH/Midwest Virtual Experiences team to prep live stream equipment, live stream services, and ensure the stream was available on the CCC website and YouTube page.
VIDEO PRODUCTION
& PODCASTING
Utilizing ongoing hours with Central, ASH has worked closely with the CCC staff to create welcome videos, pre-produced church services, and multiple video series including podcasts and interviews with congregation members.
In regards to the podcast, ASH filmed, produced, and released weekly video episodes on Central’s YouTube and Facebook pages in addition to audio episodes on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts. ASH also added a podcast page to CCC’s website to highlight each topic.
Central’s interviews with congregation members continue to be an ongoing video series that is released in weekly newsletters and on social media by Central staff.
